K-ETA Service Suspension on 8–9 October 2026: Thailand Time and Preparation
Travellers who need K-ETA for their South Korea trip should allow extra time for an announced service interruption.
Scheduled downtime
- Korea (KST): 8 October 2026, 18:00 to 9 October 2026, 02:30.
- Thailand: 8 October 2026, 16:00 to 9 October 2026, 00:30.
Website access, applications, status checks, result notifications and enquiries will be unavailable. The maintenance window may change. Allow up to 72 hours for processing. Saved applications unpaid by the start of downtime cannot be retrieved after maintenance.
Before you travel
Check the requirements that apply to your passport and trip. If you need K-ETA, plan ahead, keep your application records and check your result through the official service. Submitting an application does not mean approval has been granted.
